One of the famous English cricketer Alexander Daniel Hales best known as Alex Hales. He was born on 3rd January 1989 in Hillingdon, London, England. Hales got his primary and secondary education from the Westbrook Hay School and Chesham High School in Buckinghamshire. He was born to Gary’s family who is also a talented local cricketer and had broken several batting records of local cricket. His father scored 321 runs not out for Gerrards Cross squad versus Chalfont St Peter while playing the limited-overs league. Additionally, his grandfather whose name was Dennis. Career Journey
Hales got his national attention at a very young age when he was just at the age of sixteen years in 2005. He hit a beautiful run score of 55 runs off in only one over in the Cricket Idol T20 tournament at Lords. His one-over included three no-balls, one four and eight sixes.
Hales next then played for Buckinghamshire in 2006 season of Minor Counties cricket. In 2007, he represented as the MCC Young Cricketers and played in the Second XI Championship. One of the impressive performance of Hales that was played with Nottinghamshire in 2007. In that match, he scored 218 runs that let him get an offer of a two-year contract which continued until the end of 2009. Hales made his first List A debut against Leicestershire that was a rain-affected game, played in May 2008. However, he made his first-class debut in the month of September in 2008 against Somerset. In 2009, he got the two-year extension of his contract by his impressive performance. Alex was the top scorer of the Pro40 2009 for Nottinghamshire that was held on 29th August 2009. He scored 150 runs off 102 balls against Worcestershire at Trent Bridge.
He started his international career by a T20I cricket on 31st August 2011. He played well with scoring a two-ball duck for England versus India. While his second ball duck was scored in the first match of the 2014 World T20 against New Zealand. Following the year, the cricketer became the World’s best T20I batsmen as well as the first English batsman whoever scores the T20I century. He got this achievement through his continuous efforts and struggles in the T20 matches.
However, Hale made his first One Day International debut for England in August 2014. This match was also played against India. His first test appearance was against the South African team in December 2015.
