Andre Dwayne Russell is a Jamaican professional cricket player who plays for the West Indies and for Jamaica in West Indian domestic cricket as an all-rounder. He is regarded as the globally recognized player who has played more than 300 Twenty20 (T20) matches for a range of sides in leagues throughout the world.
Russell beat up a record and made a century in a record 40 balls in the 2018 Caribbean Premier League and took a hat-trick in the same match. And this led him to become the second player to take a hat-trick and score a century in the same T20 match.
Career
Andre Russell established his domestic and international career and received huge acclaim at both levels. In 2010, he played at Barnards Green Cricket Club in Worcestershire, England, helping them secure promotion from Worcestershire Cricket League into Birmingham League Cricket.
In 2013, he played a match against India A, Russell became the first bowler in a T20 cricket match and took four wickets in successive deliveries.
As an international debutant, Russell, as a fast bowling all-rounder, Russell made an appearance in Test Cricket against Sri Lanka in November 2010. It has been said that this is the only test match in his cricket career.
