Ashnoor Kaur is a well-known face of the Indian TV industry as she is a child star who has worked as Naira in the most popular, most-watched TV serial “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” which was aired in 2015 on Star Plus. She was born on 3rd May 2004, hailing from India. She is studying at Ryan International School, located in Mumbai, India. Career
One of her interviews, Ashnoor Kaur revealed that she never wanted to be an actress, but one of her mother’s friends introduced her to this field and since then, she never looked back as eventually, she discovered her interest in acting. In 2009, she took the start of her career with a serial “Jhansi Ki Rani”. Afterward, she appeared in another serial “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha” for which she was praised by many. Subsequently, she got many offers and started appearing in some popular TV projects including “Saath Nibhana Saathiya”, “Shobha Somnath Ki”, Mahabharat”, “Siyasat”, “Patiala Babes” and others that are worth sharing. In 2015, she appeared as Naira in the most-watched serial “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” which helped her to gain recognition for giving the brilliant performance. In 2018, Ashnoor Kaur made her Bollywood film debut with a super hit movie “Sanju” which is a biopic of Sanjay Dutt. While Ranbir Kapoor played a pivotal role as a lead actor in the movie and earned much recognition. Later, Ashnoor Kaur appeared in “Manmarziyan” in which she worked alongside as a sister of Taapsee Pannu. Additionally, she has appeared in various commercials including Amazon, Domino, and many more. In 2018, she was honored with the “Best Child Actor Award” by the International Human Rights Council”.
Achievements
In 2012, Ashnoor Kaur was honored with a Gold Petal Award for the category of Most popular Child Actor. Also, she is the victor of the Nanhe Natkhat Award for playing the role of Nanhi in the serial “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha”.
