Bhagyashree Patwardhan is a film and television actress, hailing from India and belongs to a Royal Indian family. She works in Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada cinema and proved herself the best actress. She is mainly known for a debut movie “Maine Pyar Kiya” in which she worked alongside Salman Khan as a lead actress. Moreover, she is the victor of an award and has earned few nominations.
Career
Bhagyashree Patwardhan started her career working on a television and appeared in her television debut “Kacchi Dhoop” in which she portrayed the role of Alka and it was aired in 1987. Since then, she frequently appeared in various television serials and movies. She has acted in more than 20 movies and also worked in television serials, such as; CID (2001), Kabhi Khabhi (2003), Studio One, (2005), and others.
In 2009, Bhagyasshree appeared on a dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa” as a contestant.
During 2014-2015, she appeared in another serial named “Laut Ao Trisha” in which she portrayed the role of Amrita Swaika.
In 1989, she made a Bollywood film debut “Maine Pyar Kiya” in which she worked alongside Salman Khan as a lead actress. In the movie, she portrayed the character of Suman for which she earned huge recognition. Since then, she frequently appeared in movies, such as; “Ghar Aya Mera Pardesi” (1993), “Humko Deewana Kar Gaye”,(2006), and others are worth sharing.
However, she rose to fame after appearing in her debut movie “Maine Pyar Kiya”. Later, she appeared in another movie “Paayal” in which she worked alongside Himalaya Dasani with whom she got married after this movie.
She has worked in number of Telugu, Tamil, Marathi and Kannada movies and marked her identity in the cinematic world.
Moreover, she is the promoter of the “Shrishti Entertainment Media Company” with her husband.
In 2015, she became a brand representative of the Bhagyashree scheme, launched by Govt. Maharashtra.
