Delport scored the highest opening stand that he set along with Morné van Wyk in the List A matches where they made an unbeaten score of 367 runs in the Domestic League matches of South African in 2014. He has represented Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League of 2014-15 session. Moreover, he was also a member of Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel in 2015 at the Caribbean Premier League.
