Chen Zhe Yuan is a Chinese actor and singer who was born on October 29, 1996, in Shenzhen, located in Guangdong Province, China. He is represented by Gramarie management. After graduating from Shenzhen University with a degree in ‘Performance’, Chen chose to dedicate his life to the entertainment industry, particularly focusing on acting.
Chen made his first foray into acting with the 2017 youth drama i.e., All About Secrets based on a novel by Rao Xueman. The following year, he played a key role in the fantasy wuxia drama, The Legend of Zu 2. He made his cinematic debut the same year in a comedy film titled Miss Puff. He was featured in the costume comedy drama ‘Hello Dear Ancestors’ and the suspense-laden web drama i.e., Detective Chinatown.
In 2020, Chen began gaining fame with his role in the wuxia drama i.e., Handsome Siblings, which was adapted from Gu Long’s novel Juedai Shuangjiao. He received considerable praise for his depiction of the main character, Xiao Yu’er. That year, he was also cast in the historical drama i.e., Winner Is King based on Priest’s novel Sha Po Lang where he was set to star as the male lead, Chang Geng.
In 2022, his fame increased when he starred in the romantic fantasy series i.e., Mr. Bad alongside Shen Yue, which received international fame.
In 2023, Chen Zheyuan starred as Duan Jia Xu in a series based on the web novel Hidden Love with Zhao Lusi.
