Dolly Ahluwalia is a film and TV actress, hailing from India. She is also a costume designer and has appeared in various Indian movies and television serials. For the best performance, she was awarded the first National Film Award for Best Costume Design. Afterward, Dolly Ahluwalia designed costumes for famed directors, such as; “The Blue Umbrella” directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, released in 2005. In 2006, she designed costumes for the movie “Omkara” starring Ajay Devgan.
In 2007, she worked for the movie “Blood Brothers” which was directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. In 2009, she worked for the movie “Kaminey” and “Haider” which was released in 2014. While the movie features Shahid Kapoor and others who played significant roles.
Some of her most popular movies are “Water” (2005), “Midnight’s Children”, (2012), “Love Aaj Kal” (2009), “Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurrana” (2012), “Bhaagh Mikha Bhaag” (2013) and others are worth sharing to watch. However, she has designed costumes for various movies.
Apart from this, Dolly Ahluwalia worked in the serials and movies as an actress. She has worked in “Amma and Family”, aired in the year 1995, “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” released in 2013- starring Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. However, she has acted in a large number of movies and TV serials.
