After completing her graduation, she started working as an actress and model and did various modeling gigs. Initially, she joined Elite Model Management where she worked as a model for two and a half years. Pinto has a Mangalorean Catholic family background and she was born to Frederick Pinto who is working as a Senior Branch Manager at the Bank of Baroda. While her mother, Sylvia Pinto is working as a Principal at St. John’s Universal School. She has a sister, Sharron Pinto who is working as a News Producer at NDTV. Frieda Pinto also featured in various TV commercials and also modeled for numerous brands including Airtel, Vodafone India, Skoda, eBay, and other notable brands.
