Harsh Chhaya is an Indian film and television actor, a director who is mainly popular for his roles and is recognized for the role he played as “Jijo” in the Zee TV serial “Tara” which was aired in 1990. But before that, he first played the role of Krishnakant Trivedi in the most-watched television serial “Hasratein” which was aired on Zee TV in the year 1990. Also, appeared in films and various TV serials as well.
Career
Harsh Chhaya also appeared in the serial named “Aarohan” which was directed by Pallavi Joshi and aired in 1993. Later, he made his major breakthrough in the movie named “Swabhiman” in which he portrayed the role of Karan. The film was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and it was released in 1995.
In 2002, Harsh Chhaya has appeared in various serials including “Justajoo” which was directed by Ajay Sinha, aired on Zee TV. In the serial, he worked alongside Arpita Pandey and Pallavi Joshi.
In 2006, he appeared in the movie named “Corporate” which was directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. In the film, he played the role of the CEO as Naveen Shroff.
In 2007, he worked in “Bheja Fry” in which he played the role of a businessman as Kapoor. Also, he then appeared in the movie “Laga Chunari Mein Daag” in which he worked alongside Rani Mukherjee. The film was released in 2007.
In 2008, he worked in the movie “Fashion” in which he portrayed the character of a gay dress designer. The film was directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and it was critically acclaimed.
Also, he is a great film director and one of his popular directorial is “Khajoor Pe Atkey” which was released in 2018.
However, the veteran actor has made his career very broad in both film and television and appeared in a large number of movies and television series.

He first married to Shefali Shah, but when things didn’t go well, they parted their ways and got divorced. Later, he married to Sunita Sengupta who is also an actress.
