Joshua T. Bassett (born on December 22, 2000) in Oceanside, California, U.S. He is an American actor and singer.
Career
He was self-educated. Bassett has five sisters. He performed as Ricky Bowen in the musical series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (2019). Before he acted as Ricky in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, he was first introduced to musical theater at age 7.
When Bassett was in a community theater production of High School Musical as J.V. Jock No. 2. Since then; he has performed in over 30 musical productions.
Bassett made his first debut role as Aidan Peters on the family comedy TV series Stuck In The Middle (2016). After that, he starred in the first role of Rickey Bowen in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series at age 17. According to Playbill magazine, he co-wrote “Just for a Moment” with co-star Olivia Rodrigo for the series’ soundtrack.
He released his first single, “Common Sense” in 2020. In the same year, he released his second single, “Anyone Else”. In 2021, he released his self-titled debut extended play on March 12 with the lead single, “Lie Lie Lie”.
