Karan Sharma is a television actor, hailing from India and has worked in various television serials and shows. He is mainly known for his amazing performances and acting prowess that made him stand out. He was born on 6th March 1981, Dehradun, India where he raised and grew up along with his siblings and parents. He always credits parents for his success as they have been so encouraging for him throughout his career life and that’s a big win for him.
Karan Sharma studied from the National School of Drama, Delhi, India from where he earned his professional degree. Later, he decided to start his career and moved to the acting line.

Karan Sharma started his career from acting in English and Kannada plays. Also, he continued his stage career as well and appeared in lead roles in various plays.
After gaining popularity working in theatre plays, he then decided to work for television. After continuous efforts and hard work, he then, got a role in “Pyaar Ka Bandhan” that started from 2009 to 2010. And since then, he became popular and started working as a lead in various famous serials.
Additionally, he got the chance to feature in the advertisements, such as; Perk, Cadbury, Mc Donalds, Nokia, and others.
He got so many offers and worked in various serials including “Baa Bahoo Aur Baby” which was the most popular serial, aired on Star Plus. Also, he worked in “Sapnon Se Bhare Naina” aired on Star Plus in 2010.
In 2010, he also worked in “Bandini Krishna” which was aired on NDTV Imagine. Besides, he gave a wonderful performance in the most-watched Star Plus’s serial “Yeh Rishta Kia Kehlata Hai” (2010-2011)
Also, he appeared in “Pavitra Rishta”, aired on Zee TV in 2012. While among others, “Gumraah”, (2012), “Ek Nayi Pehchaan” (2013-2014), “Ye Hai Ashiqui” (2016) are worth sharing to watch.
