Kari Samantha Wuhrer, professionally known as Kari Wuhrer, who is an American actress, singer and has marked herself as the most talented, successful artist in the world of cinema. She started her career when she was a teenager and is mainly known as a cast member on MTV’s Remote Control. Apart from this, she played various notable roles for which she earned huge appreciation from fans and millions of viewers across the world.
She was born on 28th April 1967, Brookfield, daughter of Andrew Wuhrer & Karin. Her mother is a payroll accountant and a father is a police officer and car salesman. Kari has three siblings with whom she shared a great bond.
Kari Wuhrer took acting classes from Wooster School, then studied drama from New York University Tisch’s School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Drama Arts. Besides, she started singing at her teen and sang in night clubs.
Career
Kari Wuhrer started her television career with MTV’s Remote Control,(1987) for which she got huge acclaim. Alongside this, she was the cast member of the television series named “Swamp Thing” which was started in 1991 to 1992. During the same period, she also worked as VJ on MTV.
In 1993, Kari Wuhrer made an appearance in the TV series “Class of 96” in which she played the role of a college student (Robin Farr).
From 1994-1995, Kari Wuhrer featured as Ariel Hunter in the soap opera series named “Beverly Hills, 90210”. While among other notable roles, she worked as Maggie Beckett in the television series named “Sliders” and also appeared in the horror-comedy film named “Eight Legged Freaks” in which she played the role of a Sheriff Samantha Parker for which she got immense love and appreciation from viewers.
In 1990, she worked in “The Adventures of Fond Fairlane” in which she played the role of Melodi. In 1991, she worked in “Beastmaster 2: Through the Portal of Time”. In 1995, she starred in the John Singleton film “Higher Learning”, (1996), in which she played the supporting role. Since then, she worked in various films and had given amazing performances.
Kari Wuhrer also marked her identity on television and has appeared in several TV series including “Sliders” (1997), also gave a guest appearance in the television series named “Leverage”.
Likewise, she appeared in various television series, theatre plays, video games, and films as well and praised by everyone for her stellar performances.

Among other achievements, Kari Wuhrer won the “Best Actress Award” for her work in the film “Do It For Uncle Manny” at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in 2001.
