Katie Leigh is an American voice actress. She is best known for her roles as Sunni Gummi in Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears (1985), Zuzu in Poppy Cat (2011), and Alex in the first two seasons of Totally Spies! (2011).
She provided the voice for Connie Kendall in the Focus on the Family radio show Adventures in Odyssey since 1987. Ms. Leigh has voice acted in both television, film, and occasionally video game roles, including Deus Ex: The Fall, EverQuest II, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Grim Fandango, and many more. She later did the voice of the 2010 Red Rover.
Career
Katie Leigh voiced the character Roxy in the science fiction Christmas animated film A Martian Christmas, released direct-to-video in 2009. She gave voice to the kitten character in the 1998 comedy-drama adventure film Babe: Pig in the City, the sequel of the 1995 film Babe.
In 1986, she voiced the Fizzy and Baby Sundance in the animated musical film My Little Pony: The Movie. In 1985, she voiced ADR for Heather O’Rourke for the 1985 ABC television film Surviving: A Family in Crisis.
She provided extra voices for Despicable Me, which is a computer-animated media franchise. It focuses on Gru, a reformed super-villain, and his yellow-colored Minions. In 1984, Leigh voiced Maharaja (uncredited) in the film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Gallavants.
In 2017, she provided the voice for Carlotta and Patrick’s Mom in the animated horror comedy film Monster Island. More recently, she voiced Elder Daazeel in Steve Yamamoto’s 2021 film Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild.
