Lalit Mohan Tiwari, a film and television actor, hailing from India. He is mainly known for the role he played as Sanjay in “Mahabharat” which ran for two years and got huge applause from viewers.

Career
Lalit Tiwari made his acting debut with B.R Chopra’s epic “Mahabharat” in which he played the role of Sanjay for which he received immense love and recognition from his fans. He is still being remembered for his notable role as Sanjay.
He studied from the National School of Drama and cast in tele project “Bharat Ek Khoj” which was directed by Shyam Benegal. Also, he got various opportunities to work in Benegal’s other film projects including “Bad Luck”, Ata Pata Lapata” and others are worth sharing.
In 2000, he was seen in another project named ‘Hari Bahri”. Also, he worked in numerous films, such as; “Mammo” (1994), and others as well.
Alongside this, he worked in commercials and other famed Bollywood movies such as; Chandni, Lamhe, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, and so on.
The versatile actor has managed to live a balancing life and has contributed a lot to the cinematic world. He has done unique roles and became famous for his wonderful performances throughout his career.

Among his other notable achievements, Lalit Tiwari won the National Film Award for the Best Popular Film “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge” in which he portrayed the role of Simran’s uncle, in1995.
