Matthew Rhys Evans is a Welsh actor. He is known for appearing in the Kevin Walker in ‘Brothers & Sisters’ (2006 to 2011). Also, he is popularly known for his wonderful performance in ‘The Americans’ in which he acted as Philip Jennings, started in 2013 and ended in the year 2018. For his outstanding performances, he won two Golden Globe Award nominations and a Primetime Emmy Award.
Career
The actor Mathew Rhys made an appearance as Dylan Thomas in the movie titled ‘The Edge of Love’ (2008) and also known for appearing as Daneil Ellsberg in the film named ‘The Post’ (2017).
Rhys acted in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood which was released in the year 2019. In 2020, he appeared as a leading actor in the HBO period series named Perry Mason for which he earned his third Golden Globe Award for the Best Actor- Television Series Drama.
The actor made an appearance in the film of the play named ‘Peaches’ written and directed by Nick Grosso. In 2000, Matthew Rhys played the role of Benjamin in the world premiere of the stage adaptation of The Graduate, alongside Kathleen Turner at the Gielgud Theatre in London’s West End.
