Career
She is best known for the role of Dynamite in the film Hairspray (2007). Ellis also acted Ironette Dancer in the adventure film Iron Man 2 (2010) and Teller in the action film Die Hard 4.0 (2007). In 2011, she appeared as Stacy Lawrence in the comedy-drama series Let’s Stay Together.
Ellis performed as April the lead role of Four of Hearts, released in 2013 and directed by Eric Haywood. Her popular films, including Love the One You’re With (2015), The Coalition (2013), Netflix drama series Greenhouse Academy (2017).
