Dev Patel was born on 23rd April 1990 in London, England. While he is basically from India as his parents are Gujarati Hindu Indians. He was born to Raj and Anita. His father, Raj is working as an IT Consultant.

Dev Patel has acted in many films and dramas but mainly known for appearing as Jamal Malik in the most popular drama ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ which was released in 2008 and directed by Danny Boyle.
