Indian actor Harish Khanna was born in Kota, India in 1985 to a middle-class family of Jammu. He is also a theatrical personality who has worked in a number of well-known plays. His most noteworthy performance was in the movie
Gangs of Wasseypur which was critically acclaimed and has an IMDb rating of 8.2. He has also worked as a writer, director, and producer of a short film Gotra (Maahit Naahi). He has also appeared in various commercials and some foreign films such as the Swedish-British film Trishna. He was recently seen in the T.V series Maharani. In 2021 he was nominated for the best actor for the film God on Balcony at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

1- Appearance
Harish is a tall slim man with a wheatish complexion and small brown eyes paired with cropped black hair. He sometimes keeps his hair shoulder length too. He is usually clean shaved.
2- Well-educated Person
Harish did his schooling from Jammu and later went to Delhi for College to complete his graduation from the National School of Drama. He received Charles Wales India Trust Award in 1999 and so went to study in Central School of Speech, Drama, London, UK from where he did a course in MA Performance studies and Voice studies.
3- Theatre Performances
Harish started his career with theatre in Jammu and Kashmir and has traveled worldwide for his plays. His most acclaimed performances include Odysseus in A Ramayan Odyssey, No Boat in Sight, Hooriya, etc. He was critically acclaimed for the Glass House Project where he spent 15 days in a Glasshouse.
4- Acting Debut
He debuted in the film industry with Memories of Fear which was directed by Madhushree Datta. Since then he has worked in various hit movies and a number of famous directors such as
Anurag Kashyap, Govind Nihalani, etc. His most notable performances include Sat Khoon Maaf which stars

Priyanka Chopra, Gangs of Wasseypur, Sonchirya, and Kache Dhage.

Other than his acting, Harish also conducts workshops on speech and acting and works as a visiting faculty in the National School of Drama and Punjab University. He has also contributed to theatre therapy hosted by the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. He was also a member of the jury at the Berlin Film Festival. He also appeared in the documentary 7 Islands and a Metro.

th Bharat Rang Mahotsava (International Theatre Festival) he directed the Garbage Project. Another of his noteworthy project is Surviving Survival Vienna Wiener Festwochen 2011.
