1- She’s a Breast Cancer Survivor

Not many people know that Hoda Kotb is also a cancer survivor. Earlier, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent treatment in March 2007. In 2018, she recovered from cancer after fighting for 10 years.

2- She adopted a child at age 52.

At the age of 52, Hoda Kotb adopted a child from his beau Joel Schiffman. The couple became parents to their newborn baby, Haley Joy, in February 2017.

3- Her first name means “guidance” in Arabic

People including her fans are curious to know about her unique name Hoda Kotb. Let us tell you that her first name Hoda means “Guidance” in Arabic. She is Egyptian-American and her parents were migrated from Egypt to the USA before her birth.
