In The Sum of All Fears and The Apostle, he also played General Lasseter and Reverend C. Charles Blackwell, respectively. He portrayed Jesse Hall’s father in the 1992 film The Mighty Ducks. He appeared in the Walking Tall remake from 2004 alongside The Rock. ^[1]

2. Founded A Theatre And Workshop

The “John Beasley Theater & Workshop” was established by Beasley in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2002 to support live theatre, particularly plays written by or starring African-Americans. ^[2]
