1. He Wants To Be A Writer And Director
Hill has always been a huge movie fan, and his dream has always been to write and direct his own films. Following the success of Superbad, he went on to star in a string of comedies, riding the wave for over a decade before directing his first film, the critically acclaimed Mid-90s.

Hill, like many other actors in Hollywood, performs under a pen name. But it’s not too far off from his real name. On December 20, 1983, Hill was born Jonah Hill Feldstein. [1]

Hill wrote his own stage plays in college and performed them at the Black and White bar in New York City’s East Village neighbourhood. The lead character role of Howard Ratner was up for grabs after Adam Sandler’s agents turned down the role without his knowledge. Jonah was supposed to play the role, but he declined, so Sandler took over.
