1. Arrested In 2002

Jackson was arrested for drunkenly assaulting a security guard at a Carolina Hurricanes ice hockey game in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2002. He was charged with assault, and tests performed on the actor in jail revealed that his blood-alcohol level was 0.14 percent. [1]

2. Kicked Out Of Multiple High Schools

In an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in 2018, Jackson discussed his academic struggles. The actor revealed that he was expelled from high school twice. [2]

3. Acting From A Teenage

Jackson’s first acting credit was in 1991, so he’s spent the majority of his life on the stage. He had his breakthrough role in Disney’s “The Mighty Ducks” at the age of 14, which was only his third job. On “Dawson’s Creek,” Jackson quickly learned the responsibilities of being a teen star, including not changing his appearance between seasons, as producers and The WB requested. Jackson, ever the boy who skipped school to stay up late watching Jon Stewart, chose not to play by the network’s rules. “I had dyed my hair, sort of in protest because it was annoying how much The WB always wanted to be on top of our follicles,” he said in an Esquire magazine YouTube video.
