Mukesh Khanna was born on 23 June 1958. He is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films and television primarily. He is most popularly known for his portrayal of Shaktimaan in Doordarshan Shaktimaan and Bhishma Pitamah in the Mahabharat. He has worked as a chairman of the Children Film Society, India from which he resigned in February 2018. He is the founder and director of MK Films too. 1- Debut
Very few people might know that this aspiring actor debuted with the Hindi film named Roohi (1981), Telugu Film: Dhana 51, Marathi Film: Ardha Gangu Ardha Gondya (2014), Malayalam Film Rajadhi Raja (2014), and in TV Mahabharat (1988) was his debuted project.
2- Well trained Actor
It might be an interesting fact about him that he is a properly trained actor from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, from where he did an acting course.
3- His Biggest Controversy
His biggest controversy till today is when Shaktimaan was aired on television, it started receiving reports from across the country that the show was somewhat harmful to children; as they were trying to emulate Shaktimaan heroic antics and getting themselves injured in the process; leading to their deaths in some cases too. Mukesh Khanna had to clarify the issue in one of the episodes of Shaktimaan too which clearly shows the severity of the issue.
