1. Sued By Her Fan Stalker
Sarah’s stalker, Uwe Vandrei, filed a complaint against her. The stalker made the allegations that the obsessed letters the used to write to her acted as an inspiration to her popular song ‘Possession’. Unfortunately, the fan-stalker committed suicide before the trial in 1994. It was admitted that the purpose of launching the lawsuit was simply to be close to the artist. [1]
2. Composed Music For Films
She wrote music for films such as ‘City of’ and ‘And Toy Story 2’, won two Grammys for the album, and received four Juno Awards. The popular Hollywood film ‘City of Angels’ was included in 1998. The song “One Dream” was chosen as the theme song for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
3. Nominee Of 21 Award
McLachlan was nominated for 21 Juno Awards and won eight of them. Simon Fraser University awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Fine Arts to her in 2011 for her humanitarian work.
