He was born on 3rd May 2000, Lismore, Australia where he grew up with his siblings. He is the son of Vicki Atkins and Craig Hamilton. He has siblings named, Joshua Hamilton (brother), sisters, Rebecca and Rachel Hamilton.
One of his interviews, Nicholas Hamilton revealed that he credits his late uncle for his success as his uncle was a strong support system for him who died in 2011 due to cancer.
Career
Nicholas Hamilton played his first role at such a young age and he played the first role as Elvis. It was the time when he was in grade five and he took part in his school play. He really enjoyed the rehearsals and the entire process. Later, he joined a local acting agency to hone his acting skills.
In 2013, he worked in a short film named “Time”, which was directed by Liam Connor. This became the reason for his popularity as he gained industry attention. In the film, he played the role of a young boy who believed in time travel. The film selected in the Tropfest Short Film Festival and Nicholas Hamilton won the award as “Best Male Actor”.
He started his screen career with “Mako: Island of Secrets” and appeared in other parts of short films including “Jackrabbit” and “Letter to Annabelle”. Also, he worked in a feature film “Strangerland” in which he played the role of a Nicole Kidman who is the son of Joseph Fiennes in the film. It was the Australian drama-suspense which got huge applause from viewers.
In 2016, he appeared in “Wanted” in which he worked as a guest role alongside Rebecca Gibney. Also, he worked in “Captain Fantastic” in which he was performed as an American Rellian for which he was earned a nomination for Supporting Actor at the Young Artist Awards and Screen Actors Guild Award for the category of Oustanding Performance by the entire cast in a movie.
In 2014, he joined WME and 3 Arts Entertainment. In 2017, Nicholas Hamilton appeared in the film adaptation named “The Dark Tower” in which he played the character of Lucas Hanson.
Later on, he appeared in various movies and television series, short films and marked his identity in the cinematic world. Some of his most popular movies are “1990 Miniseries”, “Battle of Long Tan”, “It Chapter Two” and others.
