Priyanka Shah is an Indian dancer, choreographer, and actress. She is also a famed YouTube star and runs a YouTube channel “Poonam & Priyanka” along with her sister, Poonam Shah. Priyanka Shah has made her film debut with “I Love Desi” in the Bollywood film industry. The film was released in 2015.
She was born in Chicago, USA where she grew up along with her siblings and parents. She basically, from Gujarat, India but later, she moved along with her family to the USA. Priyanka Shah studied from MIT College, Pune, India from where she earned a degree in Engineering.
Career
Before starting a professional career, Priyanka Shah played for the Indian national netball team where she was a captain.
In 2007, she participated and won the beauty pageant competition and honored with the title of Miss Tourism India. Also, she was a finalist in Femina Miss India which was held in 2007. Alongside this, she won the title of “Get Gorgeous” in 2015.
Priyanka Shah is a trained actress and completed her acting course from the Kishore Namit Kumar acting school, Mumbai, India.
In 2016, Priyanka Shah appeared along with her sister, Poonam Shah at the Indian dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa-9” and they earned more mainstream fame.
She completed her schooling from Stevenson High School, Lincolnshire, and Illinoi and later, graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign from where she got a degree in Accounting and Management.
Apart from this, she was so enthusiastic and got trained in dance. Now she has become the most famed, talented dancer, choreographer, and actress as well.
She competed with their collegiate Bollywood-fusion team for 3 years. Their first fusion dance video went viral on social media, trending on BuzzFeed India and the video was shared by the Huffington Post.
Some of her most popular videos along with her sister, Poonam Shah have gained more than 5 million views on different social media platforms, such as; Facebook, and others. The videos include “Pinga”, “Carnatic Tap”, and “Legacy Intro” became popular.
