Ranvir Shorey is an uprising Indian movie actor as well as a former VJ. Since making his first debut with the movie Ek Chohti Si Love Story, he has appeared in numerous high-profile movies like Lakshya and Jism. The movie Mithya which was released in the year 2008 has Ranvir as the leading actor and has been commercially and critically acclaimed. Presently, Ranvir Shorey was starred in films like Ugly Aur Pagli and megahit blockbuster Singh Is King. In the year 2014, He also hosted season 7 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa which broadcasted on Colors TV.
Ranvir Shorey completed his school education from Dayanand Model Sr. Sec School Jalandhar. He is a close friend of renowned actor Vinay Pathak and director and actor Rajat Kapoor. Ranvir used to date former actress Pooja Bhatt, though he afterwards got married to his girlfriend Konkona Sen Sharma on 3rd September 2010.
