Before he moved back to Rawalpindi with family in 2009, Shadab khan was born (4 October 1998) and raised in Mianwali. This location basically worked Khan’s track downright and he got some serious interest in playing tape ball cricket. Shadab’s family also asked him to refrain from cricket and give more attention to studies. Shadab belongs to Mianwali, a city in northwest Punjab. Career Journey
At the Sadiq-e-Akbar club, Shadab’s time grown his strength and it was a lot for him to get Pakistan’s under-16 team selection. Shadab played his U-16 from 2011-13 and then had a one-year break, which could not even take him off to get a place in u-17 series against England in the UAE, back in 2015. In this tournament, he concluded as the most wicket-taker for his team with managing ten wickets in 4 matches. His performance at the u-19 level was strong enough to capture the limelight all around as one of the inter-region tournaments, he managed to finish as the highest wicket-taker with 30 wickets and scored 295 runs with the bat.
Shadab first got attention with 4 for 35 runs against Australia under 19s in 2015-16. He performed t20 debut for Rawalpindi on 26 August 2016 in the National T20 Cup of 2016-17. He played for Islamabad United in PSL 2017which constituted him. Shadab also debuted for Pakistan’s u-19 World Cup in Bangladesh in 2016, where he finished as Pakistan’s joint-most wicket-taker with 11. He also agreed to perform for Trinbago Knight Riders in the 2017 Caribbean Premier League. After that signed with the Brisbane Heat for the 7th season of the Big Bash League.
On 26 March 2017, he played Twenty20 International debut against West Indies. He was added in Pakistan’s Test for his series against West Indies in the following month and on 7th April 2017 also played One Day International (ODI) debut against West Indies. He was nominated as the Emerging Player of the year of PCB in September 2017. He also was part of Pakistan’s 2017 Champions Trophy-winning squad in a showdown against arch-rivals India, where in front of the wicket, he trapped Yuvraj Singh.
Shadab scored his maiden ODI fifty against Sri Lanka on 16 October 2017. He was nominated in Pakistan’s team for the 2019 Cricket World Cup in April 2019. After three days, he was nominated in Pakistan’s World Cup squad, he was kicked out of the previous tour of England with a virus. His replacement Yasir Shah was added to the team for matches against England, Ahead of the third ODI match against England, Pakistan’s captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed, confirmed that Shadab had recovered and would be quite fit to play in the World Cup. In Pakistan’s World Cup match played against South Africa, Shadab gained his 50 wickets in ODIs on 23 June 2019. He played the last T20I on 25 January 2020 against Bangladesh and now he is the part of PSL 2020 and playing for Islamabad United.
