Tang Nguyen is an actor, born and grew up in Houston, Texas, USA. Alongside getting a formal education, Nguyen studied martial arts at the age of 12. He gave a first appearance as a background player in the action film ‘Sidekicks’ which was released in the year 1992.
Tang Nguyen then moved to Orange Country in Southern California in 1996 where he attended the Glendale Community College. Just after that, he discovered his passion for acting and started taking acting classes under the supervision of great, talented mentors.
Career
Besides attending acting classes from James Hong, Elizabeth Gamza, and Priscilla Barnes, he then started giving auditions. In 1999, Tang Nguyen received his Screen Actors Guild Card.
When it comes to his martial art career, Tang Nguyen holds a 2nd-degree black belt in Kung Fu, Taekwondo, Karate, and Kickboxing. Alongside, he worked on his athletic and stunt skills.
