Hanks’s films have earned more than $4.9 billion in North America and more than $9.96 billion globally. He is the fourth-highest-earning actor in North America.
Hanks has won two Academy Awards out of six nominations and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. As a producer, he has won accolades for his work in various television movies and series. It includes From the Earth to the Moon (1998, TV series), and Band of Brothers (2001).
