Later, she decided to join the Tamil film industry where she got the role of Kanni Paruvathile for the debut movie named “Sigappu Rojakkal”. She played several roles, such as; lead roles, supporting roles, and also negative roles for which she became noticed among fans. In the 2000s, she started working in television serials.
